Fast Air expanded its leadership team by appointing Shaan Bhanji as Vice President of Growth and Strategy. Bhanji is the founder of FlyEasy, a private aviation charter software platform, which was acquired by Directional Aviation’s spin-off Tuvoli back in August 2020. Fast Air notes that he brings strong experience in technology development, marketing, data analytics, and developing longstanding industry relationships.

In making the announcement about Bhanji’s new role, Fast Air notes its plans for
significant growth in markets beyond its home base in Winnipeg, which includes its recent recent expansion into Abbotsford, B.C., catering to the growing demands of the Vancouver lower mainland, and Toronto’s Billy Bishop island airport, servicing Canada’s corporate hub.

Fast Air, in Bhanji’s appointment announcement, continues to note the importance of investing in business models that leverage technology and digital marketing in order to accelerate its growth in the charter, aircraft management, air ambulance, and FBO markets.

“We’re excited to welcome Shaan to the Fast Air team during this dynamic phase of expansion,” said Dylan Fast, President and CEO of Fast Air. “His extensive background in aviation technology and business strategy aligns perfectly with our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients. With Shaan’s guidance, we are confident in our ability to manage our existing growth and continue to strategically pursue new opportunities.”
