IAAE Canada announces new chair

The International Association of Airport Executives Canada has announced that GTAA Senior Manager Strategic Plans & Programs Paul Ritchi AAE, PMP has been elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors. He replaces Cuyler Green AAE who retired from the Board effective June 5th.

The new Board, constituted on June 6, 2016, consists of Mr. Paul Ritchi AAE, PMP (Chairman), Mr. RJ Steenstra AAE (Vice Chairman), Mr. Sam Samaddar AAE, Mr. Chris Wood AAE, Mr. Michael Seabrook AAE, Ms. Sheila McGuigan AAE, Mrs. Wilma Clarke AAE, Mr. Terry Bos AAE, Mr. Warren Thompson AAE, Ms. Delia Chesworth AAE, Mr. Kevin Lacey AAE, Mr. Kelvin Williamson, and Mr. Trent Gervais.

IAAE Canada wishes to thank retiring Board members Jeff Huntus and Cuyler Green (Past Chair) for their dedication and support over the years. Mr. Huntus has served on the Board since 1997 and was the longest serving Board member at 15 years. Mr. Green was a Board member since 2003 and longest serving Chair of the Board from 2009 to 2015.

IAAE Canada also welcomes its newest Board member; Mr. Trent Gervais, Airport Manager at the Peterborough Airport (CYPQ).

Mr. Ritchi has over 35 years of airport operations experience that began with Canadian Airlines International. He joined the Greater Toronto Airports Authority in 1997 where he led the development of the world’s largest Centralized De-Icing Facility. Mr. Ritchi’s career at GTAA included the role of Senior Manager, Facility Activation for Terminal 1; and in his current role as Senior Manager of Strategy Development he works closely with the GTAA executive team to define and enable the 5 Year Business and 20 year Strategic Corporate Plans.

Mr. Ritchi also serves on 4 other organization boards including IAAE.
