Michael Rodyniuk, current president and CEO of West Wind Aviation, has accepted a new position in the United States with Willis Lease Finance Corporation, effective March 1, 2020.
As a result, Stephen Smith, current chair of the board of directors for West Wind Aviation will become acting president, CEO, and accountable executive as the company conducts a search for its next executive leader.
Headquartered in Saskatoon, SK, West Wind Aviation Group includes West Wind Aviation, Transwest Air, Northern Shield Helicopters and Snowbird Aviation Services. Through this group of companies West Wind provides air transportation services to remote, regional Canadian locations, with scheduled, charter and customized solutions.
West Wind Aviation operates from bases in Saskatoon and La Ronge as well as in satellite locations in northern Saskatchewan.
